If you want denim, we do not recommend the 6 oz. b/c the fabric doesn't hold up as well at the bottom of the pleat in front and back. If you do not want the medium weight 8 oz. denim, we recommend the twill or chambray or manchester for a lighter weight option.

This split skirt is very modest and comfortable! The only suggestion I make is for a cross seam where the pleat divides into the pants in the front and back. The stitches are coming out in mine. Otherwise I really like the skirt. Great for yard work where you have to do a lot of bending, squatting, etc.
